Ctrl Deck V1.7 is a major update and a real step forward for the software.
Ctrl Deck is a Windows productivity tool designed to help users organize, find, launch and reopen their daily work resources faster: applications, files, folders, URLs, shortcuts, groups and Workspaces.
Version 1.7 makes the software much more complete than previous releases. It is no longer only about launching shortcuts from a visual panel. Ctrl Deck can now help users rebuild an entire working context and return to a project, client file, research session or daily routine in seconds.
Main new features in Ctrl Deck V1.7:
* First-step import of Desktop shortcuts, taskbar shortcuts and Chrome URLs.
* Suggested editable groups, so users can start from an organized base instead of an empty panel.
* A new APPS section that scans the PC to find installed applications and useful Windows tools.
* Integrated search fields to find applications and resources faster.
* Stronger drag and drop support for apps, files, folders, URLs and shortcuts.
* Workspaces that can be created manually for projects, clients or routines.
* ONE-CLICK CAPTURE OF AN ENTIRE OPEN WORK ENVIRONMENT.
* Captured work contexts can be reopened later in seconds.
* Live Spaces can now be turned into Workspaces when users want to keep them.
* Optional keyboard shortcuts for groups, apps and Workspaces.
* A visual panel that can stay visible for users who prefer a clear interface, or be shown and hidden instantly with one mouse click.
* Improved migration from previous configurations.
The biggest new feature is the one-click capture system. Instead of manually rebuilding the same setup again and again, users can capture an already open work environment - apps, folders, files, links and project resources - and reopen it later much faster.
This makes Ctrl Deck useful for developers, freelancers, small businesses, agencies, administrative work, research, client projects, recurring tasks and anyone who switches between several work contexts during the day.
A Quick Start video is now available and shows the main V1.7 workflow. Subtitles are being finalized, but the video already demonstrates the new version and its main features. The official website also includes explanations before the video, plus a complete FAQ for Ctrl Deck V1.7.
Ctrl Deck V1.7 is available from the official website and also on Microsoft Store for users who prefer installing from there.
Launch offer: Ctrl Deck V1.7 is available at €9.90 until August 20.
